We’re thrilled to welcome Deenah Minor to the Nazareth Housing team as our new Director of Finance. Deenah brings a great deal of experience in financial planning, reporting, and compliance, and will be overseeing these essential areas for the organization both internally and externally.
Deenah’s impressive background spans multiple roles across New York City in various financial capacities. A native of Mount Vernon, New York, she brings not only deep expertise but a genuine passion for community service. In addition to her financial acumen, Deenah is a certified human trafficking trainer and looks forward to sharing her knowledge in this area with our community.
When asked what drew her to Nazareth Housing, Deenah explained “As a number cruncher, I always look at an organization’s financials and 990s to get a sense of its overall health. What I saw in Nazareth’s reports was impressive year-over-year growth. It immediately revealed a strong vision, and I knew I wanted to be part of that journey—using my skills to support the organization’s continued expansion and help it serve the community even more effectively.”
Deenah believes strongly in being the change she wishes to see in the world. That mindset led her to Nazareth, where her strategic insight and commitment to social impact will help us better serve our clients.
“I’m always receptive to learning. I believe we learn something new every day, and I know that will be true here at Nazareth.”
Deenah is excited to use her financial background not only to strengthen the organization but also to enhance our ability to provide economic education and financial resources—in addition to affordable housing—to help our clients thrive and grow.
