Nazareth Housing joins the philanthropic community in mourning the death of Florence A. Davis, President of The Starr Foundation. Florence was an exceptional leader, intellect and force for good in health, social welfare, the arts and the natural world. The Starr Foundation’s grants in the early 2000’s to Nazareth Housing were pivotal to our organizational development, and to the growth of our services to New Yorkers in need. We will deeply miss Florence’s warmth, her humor and her compassion.
