- Eligibility: Open to New Yorkers aged 18–64 whose household income meets the program’s guidelines.
- Discounts Offered: Available for subway and eligible bus services for those who are not already receiving discounted transportation from the MTA or the City.
- Access-A-Ride Discounts: Even if you’re enrolled in the MTA reduced-fare program for individuals with disabilities or have an Access-A-Ride MetroCard, you may still qualify for Fair Fares NYC discounts on Access-A-Ride fares.
- Cash Assistance & SNAP Recipients: Many recipients can ride for half-price. Each non-elderly adult must log into ACCESS HRA or create an account to complete the enrollment process.
