October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
At Nazareth Housing, 22% of our clients are domestic violence survivors. This year, 203 individuals received case management and support through our Domestic Violence & Empowerment (DoVE) Initiative — helping survivors find safety, stability, and a path toward healing.
Our team joined the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic & Gender-Based Violence and advocates across the city for #NYCGoPurple Day, standing together and wearing purple to raise awareness and honor the resilience of survivors.
